Inspired Women Organisation (IWO) is a registered not-for-profit, women- and youth-led national NGO based in Cameroon. Founded in 2016 and formally registered in 2021, we are committed to building an inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable society.

Our Journey

  1. 2016

    IWO founded by a group of women advocates in Tiko, Cameroon.

  2. 2018

    First community health and gender programs launched.

  3. 2021

    Formally registered — Reg. 65/E.29/1111/VOL.8/ALPAS.

  4. 2023

    Expansion into peace building and environmental projects.

  5. 2024

    Resource mobilization plan launched — cassava, plantain, call box.

  6. 2026

    1,500+ lives impacted across four thematic areas.
